To everyone at the NAHB International Builders Show in Vegas,

We at Aurnhammer llc. hope that you’re enjoying the convention just as much as we are. What with the fresh smell of innovation in the air coupled with the enlightening knowledge of shared speeches and exhibitions, the experience is so rich with inspirational ingenuity that you’d think you could take the same feelings of charm and fortune to the high stakes tables and make a killing. Now, while you temper that thought before any misguided decisions are made, let me pose a question. You’ve welcomed 2013 with hammers ready, designs lain out, and construction hats on for safety, but do you have your digital tools postured and prepared for what’s to come?

Whether your answer is an animated yes or a resounding no, we at Aurnhammer llc. would like to offer a free consultation at your IBS booth regarding your mobile initiative (or lack thereof) in order to share the invaluable knowledge that we’ve gained from years of experience working with some of your colleagues in the industry. Just as you all live and sweat exquisite builder’s designs, we breathe and bleed sensational mobile experiences and have learned how to best position our skill set in order to assist those in the builder’s industry. With clients such as Kohler, Lumber Liquidators, Stanley Tools, ClosetMaid, Bowers & Wilkins, Planet Fitness, Showtime Networks, Integrated Media Technologies, Sony Music, Bass Pro Shops, Canoe Ventures, Russian Standard Vodka, Mass Mutual Financial Group, Foxwoods Resort and Casino, and Century 21 Real Estate, our team of right-brain and left-brain thinkers merge art and technology to flawlessly meet and expand upon our clients’ visions. So, let me take you through a couple of our successes to elaborate upon the type of mobile experiences that we produce.

Kohler’s Flipside app

Kohler’s Flipside app is a clever illustration of an instance where a physical product is turned into a dynamic, responsive, digital equivalent. The app allows consumers to interact with the fun and functional, rotating, four stream showerhead as if the real product were right in front of them. The consumer can flip the showerhead with a swipe of his or her finger for a vicarious feeling and elucidative display of the four different flow modes. The app also houses a promotional video and a geo-location finder so that consumers can find Kohler showrooms and retail locations near them. Through an illustrative and enjoyable mobile experience, utility and value are created for the consumer who can interact with Kohler’s new product from the comfort of his or her own home or even on the go.

Lumber Liquidators’ Floor Finder app

Lumber Liquidators’ Floor Finder app is a great example of an instance where a physical product is transformed into a digital resource. The app gives consumers the ability to scroll through floor samples, design rooms, visualize their own room with a realistic floor layover, send images of their custom designed interiors to spouses and friends, view product details, locate brick and mortar store locations, scan qr codes, and document their favorite flooring styles. With all of these practical and enjoyable features, utility and value are created for the consumer to the end of an experience with consumer retention and satisfaction.

Stanley Tools’ Stanley Level app
StanleyinDevices

Stanley Tools’ Stanley Level app is a fantastic example of an instance where a physical product is transformed into its digital counterpart. The app provides consumers with a digital leveling tool whose accuracy rivals the tangible Stanley Level. With a calibration function that ensures precision, consumers have a fully functional level to carry around in their pockets with Stanley’s name on it. Through this app, utility and value are created for the consumers who can now take a handy tool around with them anywhere they go.

The sensational mobile experiences that we build are tightly tied into our brands’ marketing initiatives and advertising strategies and are used to increase revenue, heighten publicity, augment already desirable products, and save on channels of communication that can be jettisoned due to the introduction of a mobile experience. We’ve assisted some of the presenters at IBS with their mobile initiatives and would be happy to consult with more. For a free consultation at your IBS booth or over the phone, please contact Donn Gobin, General Manager of Aurnhammer llc., at 212.480.2100 or donn@aurnh.com. From all of us at Aurnhammer, we look forward to collaborating with you.

Just tried your Lumber Liquidators App, fantastic concept and great execution! May even order some samples now that I realize how much better my living room would be with a hardwood floor.
